Ready to start planning your greatest adventure yet?

“I’m not sure how many hours I Need?”

Colorado elopement at Garden of the Gods Resort

The short answer is…probably more than you think! It’s so easy to underestimate time for things like traveling from here to there, corralling family members for group photos, etc.

The last thing you want for your special day is to feel rushed or stressed out about the time.

I offer Colorado elopement packages ranging from 4 to 12 hours (or more!) because I understand every couple is unique and has a different budget and needs for their day.

But regardless of which package you choose, the bottom line to me is that your elopement is NO. LESS. SPECIAL. than a large, traditional wedding.

Elopements and microweddings are NOT for people who “don’t care” about their wedding day.

They are NOT last minute affairs with no thought or care put into them. Some people spend years planning their elopement day.

That’s why more and more couples are choosing full day coverage just like those traditional weddings.

Your photo coverage needs will greatly depend on what you want to do for your day. And on what parts of your day you feel will hold those special moments you want to remember. It’s not about an all day photo shoot.

It’s about being able to look back on your day and FEEL like you are there again.

If you’re still not sure, check out the sample timelines below, or get in touch and let’s chat more about it!

Why full day Coverage for your elopement is actually so important…

Why is having pictures of your day important? Why not just an hour or two for your ceremony and some quick photos? The answer is simple.

Pictures are how we remember things. Don’t believe me?

Take a walk down memory lane here with me real quick. Try to think back on an event in your life from the past 3-5 years. It could have been a birthday meal for a friend, a thanksgiving dinner a few years ago, or just a dinner date night out.

But pick an event where you have no photos from that time. Try to remember how you felt that day? Who all was present? How did you react to something funny someone said? What did the room look like? How vivid are those details that you do remember?

Now think back to a vacation, a night out, etc over the same time period where you took lots of photos.

Even better, scroll through your cell phone pictures back to one of those times. Does looking at those photos bring those moments to life for you again?

Studies show that photos DO actually help us remember better.

And no matter how you choose to get married, your day is worth remembering.

You’re going to want to relive your best day over, again and again. And 20 years from now, to FEEL how you felt on that day.

The anticipation as you’re getting ready that morning.

The reaction to seeing each other in your wedding attire for the first time. The laughs as your partner read that silly joke in their vows.

The utter joy as you celebrate what just happened with a champagne toast or some cupcakes.

All of it.

When you have photos of your whole day, you don’t have to focus on trying to remember what’s happening.

You can just live it! And be in the moment.

You can let the photos remember for you.
