This list has some of my favorite accessible places to take engagement photos in Colorado, but these spots are also some of the more popular locations!
As a photographer, I spend lots of time searching for hidden gems and new locations all the time. It’s always a good idea to check with your photographer for more great options!
Tips for choosing your Colorado engagement photo session location
When choosing what location would be best for you and your partner for taking your engagement photos, here are some things to consider:
- What type of scenery are you looking for?
- How far are you willing to travel from a certain city or area?
- Do you want to do a hiking engagement session or would you prefer an accessible location? Keep in mind that hiking locations will take much more time than a traditional engagement session, but they can offer more unique spots or less crowds.
- What time of year is your engagement session? Will your desired location be accessible at this time of year? Will the weather be okay for your needs and comfort level at that time of year?
- How important is privacy for the engagement session?
- Are you planning to bring a pet? Have you considered their needs for the location (accessibility, temperatures, etc.)
As you can see, there are a number of factors to consider when choosing an engagement session location! A experienced Colorado engagement photographer will be able to help you navigate all of these things and help you find the perfect spot!
